Our Menu

At Shak Shuka, we believe great catering starts with fresh ingredients and food made with care. Our menu features authentic Moroccan-inspired dishes, with most items handcrafted in-house using quality ingredients and traditional flavours.

We cater for a broad range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-friendly, dairy-free and nut-free options, making our menus suitable for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and diverse guest lists alike.

Canapés

Lamb Kofta
Moroccan-spiced lamb kofta skewers grilled and served with house sauce.

Burekahs
Golden baked filo pastries filled with spiced feta, herbs and other goodies, topped with sesame seeds and served with house dipping sauce.

Stuffed Mushrooms
Roasted button mushrooms filled with ricotta, herbs and sundried tomato.

Prawn Skewers
WA fresh prawns lightly marinated in garlic, lemon, paprika and Moroccan spices, grilled and finished with
fresh herbs.

Chicken Tenders
Buttermilk infused chicken strips, marinated and golden fried.

Mains

Shak Shuka (V)

Two eggs poached in slow roasted tomatoes, served with optional chorizo sausage on fluffy couscous, with crusty baguette and spicy harissa dip.

Tajine

Slow cooked Moroccan tajine served on fluffy couscous.

Options available:

All tajines served with:

  • Fluffy couscous (or rice $2 extra for GF guests)
  • House pickled cabbage
  • Crusty baguette

Signature Pita Pockets

Chicken Shawarma Pocket
Marinated grilled chicken shawarma served in fluffy pita bread with salad, house hummus, pickles, tahini and our signature umba sauce.

Pulled Lamb Pocket
Slow cooked pulled lamb served in fluffy pita bread with salad, house hummus, pickles, tahini and our signature umba sauce.

Vego Pocket
Seasonal vegetarian filling served in fluffy pita bread with salad, house hummus, pickles, tahini and our signature umba sauce.

Beetroot Salad
Beetroot, rocket, feta and hazelnuts.

Oven Baked Eggplant
Butterflied roasted eggplant with parsley and olive oil.

Baked Cauliflower
Baked cauliflower served with tahini, roasted hazelnuts and celery.

Extra Chorizo
Add extra chorizo sausage to any main dish.

Rice Alternative
Replace couscous with rice for GF guests.
